Mats Falk joins UU Innovation

“I’m looking forward to working with researchers, giving guidance on how to commercialise innovative project and product proposals,” says Mats Falk who is new business advisor at UU Innovation.

Since completing his doctoral degree in molecular cell biology at Uppsala University in the year of 2000, Mats has been working in the life science industry in varying positions within product management and strategic marketing. His work experience spans from biotechnology startups, such as AlphaHelix, to large multinational diagnostics companies, such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, and life science companies, such as Merck Millipore and Cytiva (formely GE Healthcare Life Sciences).

“Working closely with research and development, quality assurance and regulatory assurance, as well as production and sales functions during product development and launch has provided my with an in-depth understanding of the critical needs in bringing products to market successfully,” he says and adds:

“I’m excited for the opportunity to utilize my genuine interest in seeing product development through by helping new aspiring teams to taking ideas into products.”
